Default V&H Power Duels vs Dresser Duels

Looking to upgrade the exhaust system on my 2012 SG.
I am looking at the V&H power duels or the V&H dresser duels.
I understand that the power duels are intended to be a better performing head pipe than the dresser duels.
But can I hear some pros and cons between these to head pipe set ups?

I wanted the Power duals (power is always a good thing) Anyway the dealership said that they have had several breakage problems with them and reccomended the dresser duals. The breaks occured where the pipes join and then split again. Anyway I went with the Dresser duals and have been very happy with them.

I have the Power Duals. My dyno tuner said they would make more power. I like the looks of the Power Duals too. I did the following Stage 1 to my '12 Road King 103:

- Ness Big Sucker air cleaner
- Power Duals
- RCX-Haust slip ons
- H-D SEPST tuner

Dynoed at 81 H.P. and 100 ft. lbs. torque. Those numbers are pretty good for a Stage 1. The performance is much improved in all ranges and it sounds like a Harley ought to sound. That's my story - hope you end up with something you really like.

Funny you ask this question, I went through the exact conundrum about 2 months ago. I love the sound of True Duals, so I ended up buying the Dresser Duals from Fuel Moto (yup another happy customer!!) along with a PCV (again FM) Been on the road working and will have them all installed on the 10th of May, (I dont have time to install them, so F@ck it! I'm paying an Indy to do it!) will write up a report at that time (if you can wait that long) I'm really keen to see how these things sound/perform coupled with the PCV with FM Map.

You can get better top end with true duals and better bottom end with x pipes. Each sound different so that is a "your ear" thing plus they look different. Personally I'd stay awy from VH headers because of the scraping thing.

I have power duals and my SG is lowered front and rear. My floorboard brackets scrape, my exhaust does not. Maybe because I have the Harley Goodies floorboard extenders installed.
