Default 2004 Road King EFI performance upgrades?

Hey everyone!

I want to look into giving my 2004 FLHRSI a bit more "pep" in the performance department. Currently only have true duals as performance modification.

Any bolt on suggestions!? I'm not going to do a cam swap in the middle of the summer, but air cleaner / intake, some other bolt-on modifications?

Thanks,

Save your $$$ until you can do cams.

I would certainly do cams for more pep however if your stage 1 is not yet complete start there. No sense in doing cams if you have put on a stage 1 breather, tuner and full exhuast system. Stock head pipes are fine but why not open it up with a full system. Definitely don't skimp on the fuel tuner either, looking for parts or advice give a ring

Do a/c and get a real tuner (tts/seprt?pv). Then ya can do the heads & cams next winter.

$$$ is not the issue when it comes to cams, I just don't want to do that type of extensive upgrade during riding season.

I've read some people have some oil seepage with some different types of a/c. Anyone have any suggestions at which I should look at?

HD heavy breather, V&H headers and monster rounds and down load from the factory. It is 04 RKC and the bike moves big time. Could nmot ask for more. I am very happy with it.

Your true duals (at least by themselves) have done nothing for performance.

The single biggest performance improvement you can make on a twin cam is to ditch the stock air cleaner so the bike can BREATHE, and a tune to give it more fuel to go along with all that air.

SImple solution... call Fuel Moto, tell them exactly what you have, and they will sell you the right aircleaner, tuner, map for your bike.
