Looking to add some ape hangers to my road king classic. Nothing too crazy, been looking at Harley's 16 inch. If you have any recommendations or pics of your Road King with ape hangers please post.

EXACTLY!!!

I ran apes for about 6 months. Here's mine with 16" Carlini Gangsters. I dug the look, but my shoulder operations didn't agree

 

Wild1 Chubbies were the hot ticket for me. Mine are 14" as you can see in my signature picture and they are prefect for traveling. I'm 6' 3" and they end up shoulder length sitting on my Corbin seat. I've put over 1000 miles on these bars in one day and they just rock! If I remeber they were the 502's? Also they have blems they will sell. I bought one and couldn't find the blems.....I paid 1/2 the price.

 

Mine (since traded for my Road Glide) had 14" Wild1's, I'm 5-10, super comfortable.

 

Just put the 10" Santees on mine over the winter, incredible! Feels soo nice to ride, super comfortable. And all I had to change was the brake line.
Oh and the bars were 32 dollars! (im 6'1")

Check out hillcountrycustoms.com they are super great to deal with and everything was a perfect fit on the 2 bikes I installed them on. The ones in the pro pic are burly 16"
