Where to Buy a Tire????
#2
I have bought a lot of tires through http://www.jakewilson.com/?gclid=COW...FUPc4AodVBwA5Q in the past..I would also buy dyna beads at the same time..Usually I would take the wheels off the bike and carry them to a local indy and he would charge me about $20.00. Have heard a lot of stories of guys bringing their own tires to a shop and have the shop refuse to install the tires for various reasons..

if you are in PHX I know a couple of competitive shops.
or you can try online and factor in the cost to mount and balance, if you will take the wheel into the shop etc.
first you have to find someone to do it- some will not mount a tire they did not sell on a wheel they did not pull.
my last price for an 09 rear, ride in-ride out was about $172 at a dealer(!).

I went to my local dealer the other day. I priced a tire from them. They wanted $319 for a rear tire. I looked at the guy like he was on CRACK.....I said can I just have you mount up a tire I buy online. He says nope we can't do that....I said well I can buy all my parts someplace else and I walked out the door with about a $1000 in parts setting on the counter. That will be the last time I set foot in the place. They act like they are KING ****....thats bad enough but to rip me off on a tire will not fly with me.
