Default Street Glide luggage??

Just getting the wife started for ger first season on a new Street Glide. She is coming off of a Heritage ST. I am looking for touring bag suggestions. New bike has a very short sissy bar. Last bike had a tall sissy bar, we were able to hang a T Bag on it backwards. Doesn't look like that will work. What is anyone else doing? Bag type? Mounting?

Thanks

I have bags from http://www.coolsac.com/ You can have the pockets that go over the backrest changed for free if you gte a different bike. I have had these for years and they are a quality bag.

Tbags work on thet sissy bar. I have a lower one and I still have good luggage capacity.

I have the same size sissy bar on my RG and put on 2 full sized saddlemen bags on my NC trip early this year. Worked great bags never moved.

I am using the harley bag because the other bags I looked at would not fit over my backrest. I got my bag at a Fathers day sale for 20% off. Its a 2 bag set from harley. I use the small bag for rain suits and the big bag for everything else.

That looks like the same backrest I have for mine. I have used a T-Bags Lonestar and a Cross country bag on it. They both did great. Thousands of miles with nary an issue.

IDK...women like to bring the entire "house" along on trips - might have to get here a bike "trailer."

I was thinking the same thing - if you each have a bike, I can't think of a reason that she wouldn't be able to fit everything in 2 full size bags.
