Default Need help! rear running lights and main brake light are out

While riding today to San Antonio my right turn signal switch housing lost the bottom housing screw and the top started to vibrate loose. I lost my cruise control and my brake light (main and twin aux brake lights) were on constantly. I know the loss of Cruise is directly related to the brake lights being on constantly. Pulled over and remove then reset the top of the rt Turn Signal housing and the cruise worked again but the Main Brake lights and all the running lights are out (twin Aux brake/running lights worked but only when brakes applied. Running lights are offline with the exception of the back fender light. )

I m looking at the wiring diagram in my Clymer manual and it looks like it could be related to the Stop relay switch or maybe the Front brake switch. Tourpak side marker lights still work. Any suggestions?

Have you checked the fuses?

you lost the little dohickey that sits behind the switches, dont know whats it called, i just call it the spacer.. behind the brake lever there is a switch, behind that is this little plastic spacer that if removed renders the entire brake assembly, useless. in turn your lights as well.

also check the connections on your rear brake pedal, sometimes that gets gunked up or works its way loose.

After looking at all of these things. Thanks BTW, I took the bike to HD and they found that the issue was with the rear break light housing and wire harness. Not sure how this happens but all good now.
