Today when draining my trans. during routine service I noticed that the Spectro 6 speed trans oil was a dark red color instead of the cherry pop color when I first installed it. I didn't notice this darker color when checking the oil on the trans dipstick, but I only noticed the darker color when looking at the oil in the catch pan after draining it.
Is it normal for the Spectro 6 speed trans oil to change from cherry pop tpp dark red during normal use?
