Default Need a new Battery?

Hi All, I just wanted to share this with all of you. I had to change the factory battery on my 08 ultra this week. So naturally I called My local HD and they wanted 179.00 plus tax.( not installed) for a DEKA ETX-30L made by East Penn Manufacturing. I found a similar product online at Batterymart.com Big Crank ETX30L so I dropped them an email to ask the manufacturer. here is a copy of the email:

Part #:
ETX-30L
Thanks Bill

So with that being said its the exact same battery that HD sells for 179.00 + tax for $99.00 delivered..
Two days later at my front door and saved over 80 bucks..........

Default Yup

Just put one in 2009 Road King and the new one is about half the width of HD.
So I think there is room in battery box for something ...just don't know what yet.

Got this from the Dyna section.

Got to Advance Auto and use this code TRT41 with this battery
http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...wer_16940019-p

Should work out to about $106 and if you return your old battery it's $96.

Much better than the Battery Tender - check out the BatteryMINDer models. You don't need their top of the line, but they do a lot more than just trickle charge, and for multiple types of batteries! Been using mine for years for car, bike, truck, etc.

Model i have is their expensive model:
Model: BatteryMINDer 12248
Volts: 12V
Temp. Compensation: Yes
Amps: 2A / 4A / 8A
Power Source: 120 VAC, 50-60 Hz
Temperature compensated multi-stage 12v battery charger/maintainer/desulfator with precision settings for Gel/Flooded/AGM batteries and selectable amperage.

You did the right thing. Battery tender is a wonderful thing. I have a 2005 VT 1100 with OEM battery and it will start right now.

Bought the Big Crank about 2 months ago and it works great. Pops right off without hesitation. $99 delivered....how can you beat that.....and a very easy install. I'll do something else with the $80 I saved.
