Default 2014 Road King with ABS

This thread inspired me to add a few more classic touches since I posted some photos a while back. I like the classic lines of the bikes and had previously added a few items like the nostalgic air cleaner cover, front fork wind deflectors, hammock seat and backrest, Screamin' Eagle exhaust and stage 1, extended trim rings on all the lights, and a few other small additions.

After reading through every page of this thread and seeing the fishtail exhaust end caps on a few bikes I decided they would be a great addition. I was going to install chrome covers on the passenger footboards but they were so expensive I decided to spring for the chrome half moon footboards--more expensive but worth it I think.

The last thing I am contemplating is switching out the wide whitewalls for the thin white stripe tires. I've never been a huge fan of the wide whites but I haven't made up my mind yet. I'll probably photoshop the narrow whitewalls on my bike photo to see what they will look like before buying them. I know I don't want blackwalls. Anyway, I'm done for a while now ... If I do change tires I'll post another photo.

Thanks to all the previous posters for the help and inspiration!

Yes, it was a factory custom color in 2014; I was planning on a black bike but saw this in a dealership and loved the retro vibe. I am torn on the wide whites vs narrow whites. I photoshopped narrow whites onto this picture and I really like those as well.

Very tasteful. I would be proud to putt down the road on your scoot. I don't have $500 for Photoshop and also would be curious to see what it looks like. I know there are guys out there that can turn a blackwall into a white wall. I have seen it on old restorations..... Good luck moving forward. Would love to see how it turns out.

Thanks Hate Work, here's the photoshopped narrow whitewalls. They aren't perfectly aligned, it was a fast cut and paste, but it's enough to get an idea how it would look without the wide whites.

Nice change. Or two thinner, side by side whitewalls? I saw something to that effect years ago and never saw it again. Here is a picture of one.... on the right.

Hi Guys, took this pic to see if she looks any lower after the Bitchin Bagger shocks, not sure it notices but also cleaned up the rear by moving licence plate (also changed it from yellow to chrome on black) and added fender trim. I also love the pic, just about to take it and the bug just appeared, perfect timing.

Here she is... changed the seat to Mustang LowDown with studs (Danny Gray Speedcradle is sweet but didn't quite work out) ...

...also added some flying wheel covers (timer, derby) ...

Firefox and Oscardog. what kind of handlebars are those and how do you like them. I'm desperately in need of replacing my stockers on '12 FLHRC. I don't want to go too high. Looking at WO518's. I'm 6'1" and weigh 220 lbs (if I lose 30 lbs). Anyone w/ opinions on 518's welcome. Want to keep a vintage look. Thanks
