I voted for progressive. No way my *** could tell the difference between a 300.00 set of shocks and 1000.00 set of shocks. Progressive is a great bang for the buck.

ADJUSTABLES! Preload, Compression, Rebound

This allows you to customize the suspension to your settings, it's better to have adjustables then to need to adjust something later and not have the option. (I have S36E's and wish they were fully adjustable.)

I'm asking about replacement rear shocks also. I'm looking at the RaceTech front fork spring & emulator kits. But their rear shocks are pretty spendy.

Any help/comments/suggestions/bits-o-wisdom on the RaceTech front fork kit or on the rear shock selection would be appreciated.

Have Progressive 944's on the rear and Montubes on the front. Needed to lower the bike, short inseam. Firmer ride than stock but not stiff. Rears are adjustable, if I am by myself, I can soften them, when two up, which I am most of the time, I can put more spring in the rear. For the money, they do what I needed them to do.

Spend the money once and do it right....
JRI or Ohlins on the rear (I've had both, like the JRI's better since their adjustable)...Race Tech springs for your weight in the front with the modified Intiminators adjusted properly.

You get what you pay for when it comes to suspension items......for the people who say their butts couldn't tell the difference, have you tried the higher end shocks, I highly doubt it....haven't seen one person yet go from Ohlins or JRI shocks to Progressive shocks.....

Of course not. But I doubt I would spend that kind of money (on jri or ohlins) when a progressive will do an excellent job for far less.
