I'm thinking of going to a road king from my dyna. Only thing is I prefer pegs to floorboards. Can you switch the floorboards to forward pegs?

 

Are you sure? I thought so too when I first got my Road King. But footboards offer many different choices of foot position and thus are much more comfortable on long trips. I suggest you ride them for a while before you decide to change them.

 

Yes, you can change them, Accutronix and Jaybrake both offer solutions, search the site and the web , you'll see a bunch of options to build your glide the way you want.

 

I would ride it awhile before you change anything. You might find that with a different bike you might like different things.

 

I like the angle of my feet better with pegs. Just moving it all forward would be nice. That second shifter arm would have to die

 

Yup, once you've gone boards you'll find it's hard to go back.

 

pegs are on my dyna and boards are on my eg classic. i love going back and forth between them and the heel shifter and the boards are a great combo.
