Default Won't start, what to check

2012 Road King, 12,000 miles, never had a problem until today.
Nothing has changed, except switched seats Thursday night. Rode to work Friday & Saturday, ran great, got home saturday night put it in the garage on side stand. Got up earky this morning and put it on the center stand, checked fluids, and tire pressure. rolled it outside. Went back in and finished getting ready for work. get on bike Nothing happens. I check and double check switch is on we have power, Horn & lights all work, side stand up, trans in neutral, pulled in, kill switch in run switch on. press starter button...........Nothing. Flipped up the passenger boards, hit switch again, it starts to crank, I let off, and try it again NOTHING. Not enough time to check anything so back in the garage. Missing a great day to ride. Since it did turn over when I flipped the boards up, sounds like something loose, but what? What should I check and how?
Thanks

1st thing I would do is check your battery voltage. You should have 13+ vdc just sitting bike off , key on should have 12+ vdc , if your below 12vdc you battery is done.

1st checks are always battery and battery cables ( both ends).

but
wonder if you new seat has pushed down on some of the wiring.

No FOB, I don't have security. I will check battery voltage tonight when I get home, never had any problem with it before. Assuming voltage is fine, what would be the next thing to check?

Seat shouldn't have made any differance, just took off the sundowner and put the stock seat back on., but I will check there when I remove seat to get to the battery, and cables.

Look for the obvious. Check battery cables (both ends) to make sure they are clean and tight. Then check battery, etc.

Batteries will go just like that some times , I was out riding one day no issues , came home for 20min went back out and click ..... then nothing . Voltage was only 11.3 vdc when I checked it , key on 10.8 , no warning either , glad it happened in my driveway.

if no joy, you can search old threads many of us, ( including myself) have written up on how the starting system works, how to test and diagnose.

these threads are searchable on the forum.

probably 90% of "no start" are battery or cable issues- just not enough power getting through the to starter

cables- check BOTH ends.
check the starter mounting bolts too

Checked battery voltage 12.5, cables are clean and tight on battery, where are the other ends of the cables? When I turn on ignition, I hear the fuel pump, when it stop's I hit the starter button, I hear a relay click, then nothing. Which relays should I check? They are all behind the left side cover aren't they? I check the on-system diagnostics, no codes of any kind. Where is the best place to get relays? NAPA? Since everything else is working (lights, horn, fuel pump, all the panel indicators) It wouldn't be the master fuse. Any more suggestions.
