Default Better but not satisfied, yet!

Bore the heads to fit a 110 piston, used SE 259 cams, used 110 pistons, V&H 2 into 1 exhaust, RS intake, SE tuner.. It's way better than the stock 103 engine on my SG but I'm still not happy ;(what am I missing here?

Maybe a different cam, more head work, dunno... Runs a lot better but??

I see the problem. You should have bored the cylinders instead of the heads. No worries... a little duct tape on those heads and good as new!

What are you looking for?

A 2011 Street Glide short of a race 120 or 124 is not a race bike. High end crotch rockets will still be quicker & faster.

Not looking for crotch rocket performance but my bike seems respond good at highway speeds, city driving, stop and go, we'll not so much. Maybe I selected the wrong cam for the project. I listened to my INDY and used an SE cams. I may have to go back to the drawing board. I know that I have a touring bike, but I believe in having a performing touring bike...should I consider doing more head work, explore cam options or quite possibly the bike isn't tune correctly?

We need more info to give you a good answer, what do you mean by boring the heads??? We need to know comp ratio, have the heads been ported & polished, what kind of tuner & who tuned the bike.

Ya don't bore heads. Cylinders cannot be bored to 110. Ya would need to bore the cases and get 110 cylinders and pistons. Maybe if ya had a clue someone could help???

I don't know a lot about this stuff, but I don't think you'll see a huge improvement going from a SE cam to another cam. Going from stock to a performance came - you'll see a nice difference. From a SE cam to another cam, I think the difference will not be nearly as noticeable - I might be wrong tho.

Are you using the upper RPM range in town? that is what the cam wants is high rpm, don't shift so fast.
