Default JIM'S force flow engine fan kit

Anybody seen or install one of these yet? Seems like it will do the job well. Wonder how it compares to the wards fans...

Have to do my research, but don't see how it can develop enough air to make a difference in my opinion.

A friend of mine has one on his 2012 CVO glide. It does seem to move a lot of air. The built in horn sounds pretty lame though.

Wards Parts Werks fans cost less, look better because they are smaller, and are designed to blow air through the hole that goes through the head behind the spark plug instead of blowing it between the jugs. I can personally attest to how well they perform as my wife and I both have the Wards fans on our bikes. The last two years we rode in a 4000 plus bike parade that benefits Make A Wish. Temps have been in the 90's both years. Last year, no fans, my 103 had a 308 degree oil temp, her 88 was 278 degrees. This year, Wards fans installed, my 103-247 degees, her 88-234 degrees. The parade is about a half hour long and we like to rev the engines alot for the kids along the way. Im convinced how well they work. The customer service is also top notch.

Yeah, same here. I installed Jason's fans and am very happy with the setup. Before installing my bike entered the single cylinder mode in traffic on a 82 degree day. Since installing I've ridden in traffic on a 97 degree day and not activated the EITMS. Given the performance I can't see spending more on something else.

IDK...~$400 add-on that shouldn't be necessary with an air-cooled motor. IMO, money's better spent on "oil-cooling" vs. air...

I can give another plug to wardspartswerks fans. In Lake George NY this weekend. Stretch of about a mile of traffic south to the factory outlet area. Stop and go. Brutal heat and humidity. Bike never went to eitms mode. Don't have gauges but CHT had to be below 290 where I have eitms set.

Sorry to not directly answer the question but Jason's fans work! And a hundred bucks less than the Jims.

Looked at the wards fan, I'm a chrome *****, none of their fans have chrome, I've spend lots of money having my engine look chrome, I don't want a black fan on all of my chrome.
Now with that said, If they offered a chrome version, that's a different story, I think I would be interested!

I cannot comment on the Jims, but i do have WPW fans they work amazing..Get the thermal switch, get whatever finish you want to match the bike and let them work. I have a cylinder head temp/oil temp gauge and after the install my oil temps have not gone over 240..(it has been 95+ here in the northeast all week with nasty humidity) and cylinder head temp not above 220 in stop and go traffic on 95 in those temps... Normally in 80 degree weather the oil and cylinder head temps wont go above 220..They work and work well..
