Default Apes or No Apes on Street Glide?

Keep going back and forth in my head to keep the stock bars or go with Apes. I had 16's on my Fatboy Lo and wish I went 19's but obviously with the fairing I'm not sure even smaller Apes would look good or defeat the purpose with The fairing. Any ideas or feedback with Street Glides with apes would be great ( by the way thinking of the Roland Sands King Apes 19"s)

Absolutely. Comfort first, and thankfully, it's a great look, too.

I don't like the look and prefer the "keeping the hands in the fairing pocket/clean " look.
Lot of factors at play in that decision.
Don't wanna reach to my bars, want them reachin' to me.
Been there done that.

I don't like the look of apes, I think they look stupid and dangerous, and I'd never have them on any bike I owned.

Sorry, Just my $0.02. Remember, you asked!

I love the looks of them but also want to keep my hands behind the fairing, I just powder coated the stock bars black.

I'm running 12" PYO Monkey Bagger Bars on my '11 SG and love 'em. They look badass and are comfortable as hell..

I like them, but prefer they not be too far above the fairing. I'm going with 10"-12"
