I am thinking about making my tour pack removable and will need a new seat since the old one looks bad without the tour pack. I have a 2000 ultra classic, what seats can I fit on it, ex. will a dyna seat or soft tail seat fit it. I am planning on looking at craigslist or ebay first and get a deal on a take off or slightly used.

 

Neither the Dyna or Softail seats will fit. Street Glide seat will fit, and and the Road Glide, and the Road King. You have to stay within the range of your model year up to 08, they made the frame change after that.

 

97-07 touring model seats will fit. The street glide and road king seats have a short nose and will require a filler strip or a dash change.
