Trans low Primary High
Changed the fluids on my 09 Ultra Classic. Primary had 42oz should of had 38oz. Trans had 28oz Should of had 32oz I changed the fluids my self. At 12Kand again at 17K. I would think the seal from the Trans to Primary is leaking. Any thoughts on this . Thanks Carl.

I have never had it happen but I did rebuild the transmission in my 09 ultra, it was obvious to me that the primary does vent into the transmission and the tranny has a vent tube on the top cover. The input shaft of the transmission is hollow, the clutch release rod fits all the way through from the clutch adjustment screw in the primary all the way to the throw out bearing on the tranny side. It had no seals on either end, so it is possible for fluid to travel between the primary and tranny, I would check the tranny vent to make sure it is not blocked.
