I use one for my Fatboy Lo and wife's Sportster. I like the fact that it removes all the old oil . That has to be a good thing, right?. It damn sure is not hurting anything.

What about stripping out the plug hole is that not a problem like everyone says. What should that plug be torqued at ?
Just used it on my last oil change and now after 5000+ miles, I am about to change the oil again tomorrow and the oil still is a golden brown. So, that tells me that by flushing out the old trapped oil, your new oil will stay cleaner longer.
It's funny, but folks will debate all day long on the difference between Mobil 15-50 and Mobil Motorcycle 20-50, but the have no trouble leaving 3/4 quart of dirty oil.
Do whatever makes you sleep better at night..
I'm sure there are 100,000 miles on motors that used the scavenge kit and also on ones that left that 3/4 qt of dirty oil every 5,000 miles...
And I'm also sure other motors have grenaded long before 100K using both approaches.
got one last year and have used it each time I change my oil 5000+ when I whent down to AZ when it was 120+ heat my oil never looked that good after that kind of riding. Money well spent
