I got teh chopped pak for my 2013 Roadglide.

All went well except for one small issue.

I added the locking kit so that someone can't just walk away with my "Detachable" Tourpak. The standard detachable hinge...clip (whatever the "official" name is) connect prefectly. The locking one fits on but is like 1/4 of an inch from closing completely. Which additionally doens't let me lock it.

Anyone else have this issue or better add the locking kit and got it to work?

Put something like dialectic grease on the back two docking points and it will make it easier for the rotary latches, both locking and non, to work. You also may need to spread or squeeze the rack a little when putting it on the docking points.

This should solve your problem.

Default 2014 tour pak lights

Ok, trying to sum up 50 pages of posts. I ordered a 2014 chopped tour pak for my 2013 FLHTK. I am interested in the wrap around light bar(6780093). Will it fit the chopped tour pak and if I buy the wiring harness(69200131) will it be a plug and play? Thanks.

I'm not 100%, but I don't think it will fit. I think the side/back walls of the bottom of TP would be too short. Not to mention you would have to do some serious cutting and drill of holes for it to mount. Then add on top of that it would not be plug and play. You would have to make a harness to tap into the wire harness that runs to the rear turn/brake lights.

Ok, thanks. I don't know why HD doesn't offer a light bar for the smaller boxes. Not crazy about any of the aftermarket lights. Maybe the spoiler w/ light.

That would be plug and play with the tour pak harness or maybe it's the ACC plug that's already on your bike. Either way it's plug and play.

Default finally

I finally got all the lighting installed.... added CD plasma rods as well. I just need to secure the wire plug when the tour pak is off. Thanks for all the help from this thread.

Default tourpak lighting

Hey longrides, I am looking to put the 2014 led lightbar on my new tourpak. I have the part numbers for the light and wiring harness. How did you end up matching the harness from the tourpak to the existing harness coming back? I am assuming your bike is pre 2014?
