Default Is it mormal for engine to make more noise after using synthetic oil?

Had my 1K service and had them put in synthetic but since then it seems my engine is making more noise. Is this normal for the engine to make a little bit more noise since going from regular oil to synthetic? Thanks guys...

Synthetic oil is supposed to make YOU happy, not your engine. Now that you know that, was it worth the extra $$$ for the synthetic?.,,

It should sound a little more "ticky" sounding.
What did you put in?

Did you put the same in your primary and gear box?

Yes, it's normal. If top end noise is a concern, try straight 50w dino oil. If you're in a southern state, you can run straight 60w during summer months.

I've got a high compression 107, with Woods TW8 cams. They've been described as sounding like gravel in an empty beer can, which may not be far from the truth.

I put dino oil, in before Winter and planned to go back to synthetic in Spring. But it sounded so much better, I am sticking with Dino oil. But I live in WI. If temps were hotter, I would go back to syn.
