Default how to upkeep/clean a screaming eagle air filter

hello
when I bought my bike, I had the dealer install a screaming eagle air intake filter, pipes and a stage 1 download.
my question is, how do I service this air filter. I cannot find the instructions anywhere. I would like to do most of the maintenance myself.

thanks
joe

Go buy a K&N filter, K&N power cleaner spray, and filter oil, oil lightly. lasts a long time. 1st can of spray filter oil lasted almost 3 yrs and I run mine open (no football)
and clean it more often than nessary. Thats if you've got the disposible paper filter, can't clean or get it wet.

Two different replies.... oil or not oil?

Gonna have to lean more towards Dawg on this as he has some history.

Actually two different replies for two different filters. K&N regeneration process uses oil. SE apparently is a dry filter and just gets cleaned and no oil.

two different filters SE and K&N, Apples and Oranges. I honestly thought those Screamin Eagle filters were disposable. Didnt like the look or feel of mine.

Dawg posted the instructions for the SE stage 1 element which is a dry filter and does NOT get oiled.

First we need to know is it SE heavy breather or SE ventilator ?
You do not oil the ventilator. You wash it gently dry and put it back.

Heavy breather wash and oil

SE Ventilator Wash allow to dry reinstall do not oil do not throw away.
