Default Chrome Fork Lowers and Suspension Upgrade Questions

Can anyone suggest a place that trades out the fork lowers that is credible and does a good job? There are a few on E-Bay but I'm not sure which to chose.

Another question I have is in regards to the suspension itself? Can anyone suggest anything that will improve the front end suspension (Springs/Oil, etc)?
I would love to get rid of the little dive issue and get a smoother ride over those short snappy bumps.
Once I have it all apart this will be the obvious best time to address these pesky little issues.

BTW: I have a 2013 FLHX

Thanks In Advance!!

Cliff

Someone on here the other day talked about mixing a cocktail of two different weight oils and he said it really helped the dive issue with the front suspension. He actually tried a couple different ratios until he got it "just right". I don't recall the thread and didn't subscribe to it. Maybe try the search function and see if you can find it.

It will be interesting to see the responses on the fleabay chrome lowers....been looking at those myself.

I did the exchange with ***** Shiny, quality product. I put Progressive Monotubes in my RG, smoothed it out over sharp bumps.

Bought my set off of ebay HCSGUY; good looking parts and excellent service. When I purchased I also bought a set of chrome caliper bolts and one in the set was the incorrect size. Sent him an email on the weekend and he had the replacement shipped first thing on a Monday.

May be a dumb question but what's the difference of these and the Harley ones?

I'm told HD ones are not chromed all the way around. They leave the inside unfinished.

Just got done with this install myself. I went with the HD chrome lowers kit and the Progressive Monotubes. The install was fairly easy and straight forward. I'd only recommend that you double check that you have all the tools that are needed prior too. Including a 1 3/8"(or 35mm) socket.

Progressive has a decent video on their site which goes over the monotube install. The monotubes are a significant upgrade over the stock touring springs.

Cheers
