What a mechanic at a local dealership told me is that the New Cams do not have any extra lift like the 255s have.... what HD changed was the duration.... the new cam now opens much earlier, and stays a little later - so that is where they get the more umph from....
Dealers are telling people they have 255's in them, which from what I understand is not accurate. They are a cam similiar to 255's, but they are not actually 255's. Am I correct?

Hopefully this cam will be available in the SE catalog for the pre-14 bikes.
I would imagine that the SE Cams available now would be better than the stock '14 cam - so not sure why anyone would want to go that route. I also doubt they will be available in SE catalog, since they are not SE - should be in the stock parts book tho.
The 2014 HO 103 cams while similar are not likely to produce as much result as the SE 255 cams (or other contender for the cam of choice award) and a tuner will. It would seem the 2014 HO 103 cams are designed to manipulate the engine to produce a better result while still meeting EPA emission compliance.
