I put the ISO grips on my 14, no issues whatsoever. Just make sure to get the Harley specific ones for the electronic throttle control

Default 2014 grips

I just installed Airlon grps on 2014 flhxs and it was a piece of cake. The rubber grips came right off and the grps I bought had the flange that fits under the switch housing. Be sure to apply the brake and block it with cardboard at the lever before you start working on the throttle side. There are a number of YouTube videos you can watch that takes you step by step.

Goog Luck!!!

Was the left grip glued on or held on by the switch housing?

I use to run ISO's but recently went to Kury's newer Kinetics. Kinetics are bit smaller diameter than ISO's very comfortable.

I installed the Diamond Black grips that were labeled 08 and up touring on my 14 FLHXS.

While not as easy as the previous design, they do indeed fit, just have to take your time. Throttle side was simple, clutch side took time and patience....but they do fit, w/o any modifications to grips or the bike.

What he said, but mine were the slip stream series. I had to unloosen the lever brackets a bit too finess the grips into place. Also, there are small outer trim pieces on the housings that are held on by two sided tape. Careful, I did dislodge one on the throttle side. The left side grip was a bit hard to get the housings to tighten back together, there are some tabs in the housings that bite into the tube of the grip. My left grip had a light dab of glue from the factory, but I bear gripped it loose. Certainly not as easy as previous models, but certainly doable with patience.
