Dude. Couldn't stop reading. What a great thrill you will never forget.

You told us about your gear. What about the bike? Know its a 12 street glide. Pipes etc.

Awesome Awesome Awesome. Its amazing the miles and scenery you can cover on these machines. Means so much more than doing it in a car.

Congrats man, you are definitely a BIKER!

EPIC RIDE REPORT!!!

Thanks for sharing – Great Wordsmithing

I did the 1 day Iron Butt last year, but 10 days? WOW!!!

I listened to some of the songs you mentioned while reading through the excellent writeup - Excellent Pre-Planning

Favorite Writeup Sections:
The potholes are huge and patches in the road are the size of Texas speed bumps. I started to count the times my a$$ left the seat, but gave up after 20-something. I thought I was going to blow the rear shocks right through the bags a couple of times.

For anybody that is considering riding this stretch of road, let me suggest this instead: Get a can of gas and a match - Light yourself and your bike on fire. This will do less damage to you and the bike both physically and emotionally than riding that section of I-95.

I asked for some advice about avoiding the rush hour traffic in Boston. The guy there told me that my best bet was to run I-95 straight through and avoid the beltway traffic around the city.
If I ever see him again I’m putting my whole foot up his a$$

Best of luck to you on fixing the compensator…

Awesome trip!! Oh to be young again. The body wouldn't handle the trip and I know the mind couldn't handle the bike being dirty for 10 days. Good for you and well done. You've joined an elite group.

Great write up sir. Very inspirational. Maybe next time you can see your beautiful country and take a month or so to do it.

What a great story. I bet it was amazing seeing it all and having people tell you that you were nuts... just goes to show what the human spirit can accomplish when we have a goal set in our mind... Thanks for sharing!
