The two issues I have are the crackling and the GPS icon changing back to an arrow after shut down/start up.

HD knows and will be addressed in an update. Did you turn off your intercom? Seems to help some that had crackling.

I'm 50/50 on adding the fairing mounted hidden antenna.
According to HD it's supposedly gets better reception

I have not turned off the intercom, don't have one on a SG. I'll try that anyway though.

Was wondering about that but saw you have the 6.5 radio. Interested to see if its in there or not.

Did you find the signal stronger/better with the hidden arena as HD claims?
