Default 2014 6.5 crackling speaker thread

Well how about a not so official thread seeing how many '14's are having the crackling/popping noise thru the speakers on the boom box 6.5 system (the one with navigation, Bluetooth, streaming etc...)

Ive found it to be mostly on FM radio station's. I actually added the Harley hidden POWERED antenna and it was exactly the same way...

If your bike is having this issue OR if you or your dealer figure's out what to do please respond here so we can all get it fixed.
Thxs for your time and ride safe, paul

******UPDATE****** See post #10 in this thread for a possible fix for this issue!!1

Really? Static and noise on the radio? It must be a sign of the apocalypse.

Not to poke fun....but you do understand radio signal broadcast principles, right??

What does the intercom do anyway? I keep mine off but don't know what it's used for or how it's used.

on the 6.5 (head unit with GPS)

Go to Home
Go to speaker/headset
these three things pop up
Music you want on the left (speaker ion)
Communication you want it to the right (headset)
Prompts I set to the right (headset) not 100% sure what prompts mean, if its for the navigation I cant hear her anyway. Ride safe, paul
