Gotwages, so I shouldn't have any problems putting on Wild 1s 10" bagger bars ? other than extendeding wires as you explained earlier. Thanks for a great post

Just did another 14 yesterday with the same bars, three hours from start to ride off. Getting good at this, time to start charging. Haha!

There is an extension kit from HD it is p/n 69200034. Says for Softail but I put it in my '14 Ultra and works fine. Plug and play and keeps the wiring nice and clean.

I stand corrected. When I installed my bars the bikes were only on the road a few weeks so the dealerships here had no idea. Plus I love saving money so some cutting extending and soldering is fun for me.

My suggestion would be to order the Namz extension kit. plug and go I ordered the 8" for my 12.5 wild1's and they were just long enough. the connectors are small enough to pull through the bars with no issues. $35 list and can be ordered through Drag.

I followed the OP and had never done this job before took 3-4 hours and have had no issues.

Thanks for the info. I have heard from a few people that the Namz kit is the way to go!

That's awesome to hear there is a decently priced plug and play kit now. I installed the bars within three weeks of the bikes being on the road so there was nothing out yet that would extend, that I could find so I went the cut and solder way. I just did another set in 3 hours from start to finish cutting and soldering extensions, plug and play would have been an hour total.
