Default There has to be a better way to upgrade :(

Went from this:

To this:

I think I'm going to take a hit on the insurance though. I'm hoping that since it was the other guys fault, I can hit up his insurance for at least 90% of the price for the Limited. Especially if I don't sue for pain and suffering.
Anyone ever had to do something like this after their bike was totaled? I had about $8K in upgrades and add ons on my bike.

Looks like you had it right the first time. lol

Glad you're ok. That engine guard took a beating.
Hope your leg was not between it and the bike! Fellow rider lost his leg that way.

Damn, glad your ok. If that happen to me I would probably do the same and get the limited. Do you have coverage for all the accessories?

Wow, that color combination is stunning in my opinion. I told my self I was going to keep my Road King for a long while but after seeing your Limited, "long while" may have to be a "short while". I'll have to stay out the showrooms for sure. Have fun with it.

I love that color combination! Classy look!

Rather sue or not, one way or another the other persons insurance is paying for the new ride. In case you've not already talked to someone who SPECIALIZE IN MOTROCYCLE ACCIDENTS, please do. Our in house council and the guy in his firm who does injury cases helped, but we decided to call anyway...made a difference between my insurance paying 30k towards 50k in hospital and docs, and paying 100k.

Believe it or not, All I ended up with was a sprained ankle and a dislocated shoulder. Had a little scrape on my elbow and that was it! Somebody was sure looking out for me!

That was an ugly wreck, glad you're ok.

And that's a beautiful replacement.
