Can't wait to get her out of the break in period to open her up!

How did you get a new cop bike?

I had 43K miles on the 11, and I test rode other models, fat bob etc. the RK just felt better to me.

good luck, but either way, RK or Street Glide, you can't go wrong with either!
The 14 was that different than the 11? I have a 2011 RKC, but haven't ridden the 14. Long live the King, but bring back the Classic!

I know this thread is a year old but I had to share.
I had been looking to upgrade from my '05 RK for a while now. I found a used 2014 RK last weekend online one state over and was seriously considering it. The price was right, but I was fighting letting go of my hard earned cash! Anyway, on Monday (8/24) I started searching for reviews of the 2014 when I came across this thread.
All I have to say to you "effers" is THANKS!! After about 3 pages into this thread, I was ready to pull the trigger on the deal. But I fought the urge long enough to read all the way to the end. As soon as I finished reading, I picked up the phone and made the call. With in minutes the wife and I were on our way to pick up my "new" ride.
And, man, I have to say...I love that 103" and 6th gear! I must've been all smiles on the ride home.
Thanks OP and the rest of y'all. Oh, and BTW, it happens to be Mysterious Red Sunglo, too! Imagine that!

I purchased a 2015 two weeks ago and love it. Its been 13 years since I've owned a RK and the 103" engine is smooth and powerful. And the cruise control is such a great option. It is like nite and day compared to my 2003. I am all smiles riding her and will be taking a long trip from my home in Pa to my home in Fl this fall.

Big slick, I agree with you. I went from a SG to a 15 RK. They bike handles good and nibble. I miss the music for only the first week but also listen to my iPhone. Over all its good to be The king.

How do you like the handlebars on the new RK? Improvement or not?
