It's about time they did something with the lousy stock bars. They look Like the 09 Heritage bars I put on mine. Not those crappy Heritage Style bars.
Nice color. Good luck with the new ride.

Congrats on the new RK! I think HD did a great job on this bike. I love the tank badging and the rims. Bars are much better also. The mysterious red sunglow is my favorite 2014 color. Awesome bike!

Congrats on your new 14 King, love the color too. Sounds like HD did a great job on the new updates to the King.
I'm going to buy a new one in a year, most likely a 15. Please keep us updated on your King as you put more miles on her. Ride safe.

Default New 2014 Road King

Just took delivery a week ago of my 2014 Mysterious Red Sunglow Road King. Traded a 2012 V-Rod for it. (More age appropriate as I am 58). Was worried about the ability to navigate a heavier machine but was quite surprised as how well I adapted. It is a great bike and really is comfortable for the longer rides. Can't wait til next summer for some day trips. Can't believe the reaction people have also as it is a real head turner and the topic of much conversation in the parking lots. Even attracted a group at the dealership looking it over and commenting on the color. The '14 really has some great upgrades and I see me owning this one for a long time. Right now I only plan on some minor upgrades i.e. LED's, grips & highway pegs but I'll probably treat it to some cool stuff after it comes out of storage next spring. Plan on riding into November before putting it up for winter.

Default '14 RK Review

Nice RK! I really was surprised at how well my '13 RKC handles, especially since my previous ride was a '12 FLD, lighter and smaller.

add more comfort by getting that ultra seat and putting it back on. That is what i did with my 2013RK. You just need to buy the longer hold down strap. $23 makes it even more enjoyable on the long hauls

I may be wrong, but I think they made the Heritage-style bars the stock bars.

Really nice bike OP!
