Nice review and a great bike. I've been toying with trading for one myself. I haven't sat on a 14 yet but on the 2013 I tried the seat was too low and forward. Also the bars felt a bit awkward for me, both are easy fixes though.

Picked up my Mysterious Sunglow yesterday and still can't wipe the grin off my face

Will enjoy it stock for a while as it is fine

Ditto on the comments on the paint - the crew at work all liked the color and style of the bike

Enjoy yours as much as I am enjoying mine

Nice color. Good luck with the new ride.
Hey! I really like the old stock bars! I tried your bars and hated them.

IMO I am disappointed they messed with the bars.

And hats off to the OP. That color does look great!

It would be tough for me to get a Touring bike with a fairing. I like going without my shield too much.

Default 2014 RK Review

I got one too, same color. First Harley for me, sold my 02 GoldWing after the demo rides at Americade, couldn't pass this one up as the color really got me. I do have a new clearview windshield on order though.

Never really been much of a red fan, but that is one nice looking scoot. Having been on a fairing bike for many years going back to a King was really different with being able to see the whole road again. I'm in the market now for a later model bike. Would love to get a newer King, but need to figure out a way to control the buffeting. Might consider the fork fangs and vented lowers.

Congrats! I took delivery of my RK in the same color on 1/15 and now have 900 miles on it. I really like mine - strong engine, great handling and good looking. Put on a shorter tinted HD windshield. Now if I can only get down U turns but the quick turn right before going left helps. Looking forward getting synthetic into the cases and going on some longer trips. Good luck with yours!
