Screamin' Eagle Hydraulic Cam Chain Tensioner
Anybody ever seen one fail? Bud brought his bike over...sounded like all the lifters had collapsed. Pulled the cam cover and seen the primary hydraulic chain tensioner was totally collapsed. Pulled it off the cam plate and sure enough the plastic piece that rides against the chain was seized in the aluminium housing.
BTW. This is a 2001 ultra with a 95 kit and the billet HD cam plate conversion.
