I've used stock and a/m's and get 10,000 to 13,000 on either. About double on the front.

I just put on some SUMO Kevlar pads on the front. Will be doing the rear soon also.I don't have any feedback on them yet, but maybe others do.

The OEM pads were eating up the rotors and making squealing noises also. They looked to me of a metallic composition, which I don't particularly like.

I am using the Lyndall Gold + and I'll have to say BS on "less dust". I am scrubbing my whitewallls more now than with OEM pads. There doesn't seem to be any measurable improvement in stopping distance with Lyndalls either.

I also have an 07 Road King..Just put EBC pads on and do not have 10 miles on them yet..Have used Lyndal gold and all of that before..never really noticed any changes with anything..When you change your pads out get a can of brake cleaner and spray everything well.

How do you guys wear out rear brake pads? My bike has 40k on the rear pads, and since I got the bike, the only time I use the rear brakes is for parking lot maneuvers and u-turns. I've replaced the front. But the rears just don't get used.....

Rear brakes are for more than slow speed maneuvers.
