Default Inverted mirrors on a street glide with apes?

I'm going to 14in apes and I know when I had my 12in apes I could barely use my fairing mounted mirrors, I was thinking about using the handle bar mirrors inverted (mounted under the bars). Anyone done this? If so what mirrors did you use? And post pictures?

I have the LA Choppers Prime Apes on my Ultra and I inverted my mirrors a couple weeks ago and had to put them back. I could not get used to them. My visibility was severely affected. Put them back up top and even though I liked the look of them inverted I like being able to see what is going on around me better...

I can see with these under better than with the stock bars and mirrors were on top. If I have sleeves that are baggy sometimes that gets in the way..These are 16" LA Choppers Bagger Twin Peaks

I tried it with my 16" apes, ended up putting them back as my arms were blocking the view

I have an 09 FLHP with heritage bars and for the summer months when I am not touring I pull the windscreen and go inverted:

The mirror are stock HD mirrors with the short stem on them. To get this setup working I need to loosen the bars and move them up a bit so that the mirrors don't hit the tank. While I love this position it doesn't work great with a passenger or if I have the T Pak on the bike.

10" PYO bagger apes. I inverted them about 3-4 weeks ago. It took a little getting used to, but I can see fine with them. As stated when wearing something with baggy sleeves, they can be seen in the mirrors.

I am using cheap-o Emglo mirrors from dennis kirk.

I have Arlen Ness mirrors under my LA Choppers Twin Peaks 10" bars. I can see just fine with them, better than I ever did with fairing mounted mirrors & stock bars. Tried stock Harley mirrors underslung, but they looked too big.
