I agree after test riding a '14 Road King a couple weeks ago. The cams in the '14 touring bikes have noticeably more grunt than a '13 touring bikes right out of the box.
I'm considering trading my Dyna in on a new Road King this winter. If I do, I'll put a 2-1 D&D pipe on it, open a/c & have it dyno tuned at 1,000 miles and not change cams & I bet it will make more hp & tq with the stock cams than my 96" does with Wood 222 cams.
I don't know about that, what does you 96 make? My 96 with TW-222's makes 91HP and 110 TQ

Fuel Moto Dyno'd a stock 14 Limited at around 80hp and 100ft torq. Don't remember the exact numbers. But is was more HP and Torq than a stage 1 on a 12 103 they had dyno'd previously. So with the mods he mentioned, I think he is probably correct about getting more out of the 14. The 14s HO 103 Twin Cooled that Fuel Moto dyno'd does have better numbers stock then the air cooled HO 103 though. That's due to the higher compression on the twin cooled motor.

Nice#s. My 103 with TW 222s is getting 82.56 HP and 97.60 TQ after dyno with PV. I wonder where I am leaving my power, or does FM just have a happy dyno.
