engine replacement

I put the 113 in my 95' ultra. It screams.
Keep in mind that it is a stroker; you will have more vibration, you will need to beef up your clutch, you will need to put heavier duty motor mounts, etc. The motor is also heavier so your center of gravity will also be changed.
It has been a while since I have viewed their Web site but, my 113 is an Evo based motor and if they do not have a Twinkie based motor, you will need to purchase/fabricate mounts.
Overall, Ultima is a good build and their customer service is better than others but not the best.
If you do get it into your bike, hold on, it is a blast!!!!

There are plenty of big inch twin cam engines available. As stated, when you go big, all the supporting cast has to be upgraded as well. I've looked into it, and with all the other parts that need to be addressed it can get expensive. Your bike could easily handle a 103/107 engine with minor upgrades. A friend of mine went with a 116 s&s and it was a never ending battle to keep it together. The engine was great, but the rest of the bike couldn't handle all the power. If you use your bike for long trips, big inches can be troublesome. Just some food for thought. Best of luck!

First off, why the replacement plan instead of the upgrade on your current motor?
Just for comparison purposes, my 95" Stage II still goes all over the East Coast every year and is well past 100,000 miles. It produces the same hp and torque as a 110" Stage I with even greater reliability IMO. And a 95,97 or 98" upgrade is cheap by comparison to a motor replacement.
What do you intend to use it for?

i ran a 95 inch in my 04 for years, well past 100K, started wanting more power and split cases to go with 103. Got cases back together, with beefed up 103 crank, welded, trued, balance, timken etc and the 107 cylinder kit caught my eye. Ended up 107 and its a blast. over 120/120 and a thrill to ride. My 04 will spank my 12 110 CVO's butt any day and twice on sunday. 107 now has a little over 20K on it and its still going strong.
I highly recommend the 107.

I to am on the 107 bandwagon - it's a great tweener motor - with very decent TQ/HP - 40k + miles and still going strong - I also have S&S 124 on 06 SG - still running the stock brakes and trans - not one problem - the difference in price does not justify the gains in hp/tq - I used the SG for a bar hop/bike night hot rod.

We need to hear back from the OP on why he wants to change engine and what use he has in mind, then we can give more constructive advice. Nothing nicer than helping to spend someone else's money! There will be no shortage of suggestions......
