Default turn signal module 69461-06c

I want to buy the module to convert my rear turn signals to run/brake. Does anyone know why the module 69461-06c would not work with the shorter light bar 68611-98 as indicated in the description. The module plugs in under the seat. I can't imagine why it wouldn't work with the shorter bar. I have a 13 ultra limited?

Default turn/brake module

That is funny. I am a retired cop and could not imagine telling a biker his turn signals are too close to the brake light. The bullet light bar is even closer to the brake light...wtf?
