I am thinking that for long trips i might change to electra glide shocks. Thinking its a simple change out and would be more comfy.

 

Returning the ride height to what it was intended to be gives you another inch of travel and more ground clearance.

 

That would make for a better ride. I am happy with the stock Ultra shocks but many would recommend going with something better than the stock HD shocks if you are going to make the change.

 

I have a 2009 EGC.

I use the 12" Sg shocks in town, swap to the stock 13's for touring.

20 minute swap incl coffee.

you would NOT want to do this if the front end has been lowered...stock front end, ok
