So is anyone out there making 2014 style aftermarket extended hard bags yet? I would like to get a set for my 2013 SG.

 

Hey Neighbor...Saw a thread regarding a company who was working on the extended lowers..But even with the lowers,The lids and hardware are also different so coming up with that might also be an issue..No?
I will see if i cant find that thread on aftermarket extended lowers...
Just curious what your interest is with the new bags?I like the new bags but not the tour pack...Just like the old style better.

 

You wanting to put 2014 extensions on 2013 bags? Or you changing bags also?

 

I know PEZ at Hogtunes is working on all the amps/wiring harnesses/etc. for the 14 models. He mentioned to me that the 6x9 lids would be coming next but he needed to get his amps squared away first.

I would (safely I think) make the assumption that he as well as many others are going to be releasing all kinds of new 14' products at the VTWIN Expo in February.

 

im just wanting to fit the 14 style bags onto my 13. im wanting 14 style extended bags and like ultra said hopefully there will be speaker lids available soon as well. I cant believe it would take such to adjust the bracket and get the 14 bag in my 13

 

Top shop is making extended 14 style bags to fit the 13 and down. I've already ordered a set. Lids can come from HD or wait for after market. Only problem is getting all the hardware for the lids. No 'kit' yet so you'll have to order all the parts seperate
