Doubtful. In Florida, and probably in other "Free" states, it's legal. Securely encased and not readily accessible. But why anyone would put a gun there is beyond me. Other, better, legal options exist.

It reminds me of an ankle holster. An old timer once said "An ankle holster is a great place to carry a gun when you want to go unarmed". Back-up? Sure. Primary? Not so much.

The point is that we have (should have) a choice whether to carry or not To the OP and in MY opinion, packing in the floorboard is a dumb idea.
