Seems like there is a trend lately of knock-off parts. Latest I found was 09-up docking hardware. Anyone give these a shot?? Are they worth it or junk???

I've been looking at these as well and wondered if they would be worth buying. Good post.

 

I bought that very same unit....he is a great seller. Can't tell the difference between that one and my buddy's factory unit, actually the chroming on mine looks better than his. Factory chrome covers (cups) fit perfect.

 

i've bought two sets of these and the ones i got seem to be the same as harley's. we compared them side by side. have a set on my own bike now.

I am glad to see some people here with the intelligence to buy after market. Its not called knock off but aftermarket. Which anyone who buys the **** from the dealer needs their head checked. Why pay all that extra money for something that is most likely no better. Just double the price.

So you use these to make the tour pack a quick detach?

 

Are those the same ones that you can get from www.mutazu.com?

If so a buddy has a set and they look as good as the stuff you get from the dealer.

 

That's what I've been told. These 2 brackets and relocate my plates. The kit for my Limited at Harley is $500. That's just too much!!!
Not sure if this is them or not.
