Default 2014 SG Neutral Issue

My wife, and I, have a hard time finding neutral on her 2014 SG. We have no problem on our 09 Roadglide or her old 05 Softail. Is this something inherent in the hydraulic clutch set up that she needs to get used to, or something I need to get Harley to look at?

use Red Line shock proof in the transmission and it will be easier, the more miles that are on it makes it easier also.

It gets easier after a few miles and the first service oil change, you just have to lightly tap your foot to get it ... I have a new Ultra Limited and had the same issue, now I can click it every time, just a light touch usually gets it, Cheers

I had the same issue, it gets easier with more miles. It helps to just give the heal shifter a quick light tap. Hang in there it'll get easier.

Same here. I struggled the first 500 miles, gradually gets better . Did my 1000 mile fluid changes and put my usual Mobil 1 Syn Gear lube and it is much better.

I have the same issue, was told it should get better with use....I only wish the weather could be better to test that theory!

I could not get my 14 into neutral for the life of me until I started using the heel shifter and just tap it with my foot and it goes into neutral every time.

try adjusting the clutch, common if the clutch is dragging alittle. this happens on new bikes as the clutch cable starts to stretch.
