I picked one up for my girlfriend after suffering on the stock seat for one ride. Put it on my '12 SG the day it arrived while she was watching and I exclaimed "OH HEL NO!". I told her I'd put it on for us to ride but I'd never leave it on otherwise. It's like an albatross on there. She never rode on that bike again for the year an a half I had it.
Oh, then I picked up an Ultra a few weeks ago. Now everything is in proportion. Like new Sundowner will go up in the classifieds in the next few weeks.

Since the seats go on and off so easily, many use the low profile stock Street Glide seat for riding solo. Is super comfortable for the rider, and looks great.
When a passenger comes along, put on the Sundowner or Hammock along with a removable tour pak or sissy bar, and that also looks pretty good together, and the passenger will have a big smile on her face.
All this only takes a minute, and simply hang the other set up on the garage wall.

I hate to hijack this thread, but.... How did it move you guys compared to the stock seat. I just picked up a '13 myself. The dealer gave me a takeoff from an Electra Glide to try. It lifted me up probably 2". Too much for me. They have a demo Sundowner I can try also, but I haven't had a chance to get it to try it out. I have read different things from different bikes, but I see there is a '12 and a '13 owner that posted here. Just for info I am 5'9" with a 30" inseam.
Sorry for the hijack and thanks to you who answer.
