Default parts needed for fork slider swap

I'm going to exchange my '14 legs for chrome. Do I need anything else from Harley besides two new oil seals and the fork oil itself? Also any recommendations for a reputable chromer? Thanks.

The cowbells...... Get chromed cowbells, the stock ones are polished, not chromed!!!!!! If you have all the tools you need, then your golden. Maybe a tube of Loc-tite blue..... And get it on!

You also need new fork bushings - the chromers remove them. For $40 harley sells a fork rebuild kit that has everything you need and a few things you didn't know you needed, such as seals for the drain screw and the screw that holds the damper rod in from the bottom. {edit - the kit only does one fork leg - you need two! p/n 49377-09A my bushings were not shot but wear was noticeable after 11k miles. might as well change while they are apart.}

The list goes on - chrome domed spacers and axle nut covers for the finishing touches.

There are three online chromers that people like - I went with Rick's (rick9776(?) on ebay), willyshiny, and I can't remember the third (imperial?). Ricks was very good and quick shipping. Plenty of threads on this topic.

The bushings stay on the forks when you remove the tubes. You will need the copper crush seals at the bottom of the forks. I posted some pics when I did mine and tools required.

"Impress chrome"

That's where I bought mine...... Bought the custom chrome fork seal and bushing kit from him as well as belray heavy fork oil. Was gonna start tearing the forks off today with the **** weather, but what's her name wanted me to paint the damn living and dining room today...... Women, I swear...... No priorities in life!
