Default 2014 TK Saddlebag Stop/Turn (Photos)

Went out last night and got the new Saddlebag Stop/Turn/Run lamps. Installed this morning, about 30 minutes. They are bright, and viewable from a wide angle.

Photos for those with Daytona Blue looking to see how they appear.

I'm still on the fence.

I like more light back there, especially here in S. Texas, with all of the "qualified" drivers on the highways around San Antonio...

...but still not convinced I like the look.

I was truly hoping they would come out with a kit to fit some lights in the holes in the chrome brackets between the fender and bags.

I think they look good, I'm all for more lights, for the first time in my life I wear a reflective vest when it dark outside. I'm more safety minded these days. People just don't pay attention when they are driving. I been wanting to add more lighting to the rear of the road King .

JT, can you give us a few details about the install? Thanks!

Me too. I ordered a set yesterday for my SGS because I don't like the lack of illumination in the back. I know their are many haters of these lights. The big advantage over the plasma rod setup is they are not recessed and can be seen from an angle. JMHO

They were super easy to install, less than 30 minutes. The included directions were straight forward.

Nice, but I wonder why they didn't just make some lights to go in the big holes in the saddlebag fillers?

You'd have the same issue I have with my plasma rods installed in that position. The visibility from the back is great but from the side, not so great. I'm thinking of adding the new bag lights to my setup for increased side visibility of the turn signals.

The parts description says "Kit includes left and right lamps, modulator, and quick-disconnect wiring harness." Modulator? Does it flash before full-on, or is it simply run-turn-brake?

Your pics have convinced me to order these. Thanks!
