I just installed RF PBR300x2 with Alpine SPR60 speakers. Huge difference from Stock!! I wanted to go with the Biketronic speakers but pricey and hard to find in Canada. I wasn't sure I'd hear $175 difference in those over the Alpine's....but I may pick them up before spring to try...lol

Sounds like a nice budget setup! Almost went with SPR60s myself. Nice speakers!

I just finished installing a JL XD200/2 with kicker 6 3/4" (40CS674) speakers. It is beyond loud!!! Much better than stock. $250 total investment. Well worth it.

here are the specific problems with the 6.5" speakers like the Focal's and Polk's mounted in the fairing of the 2014s ,,,,,,, notice the rolled edge of each speaker cone where it rubs on the inside edge as it is playing ,,,,,,,,

this will wear actual holes in the edges of the speaker cones in a fairly short time,,,,,,,,

now look at the new J&M speaker for the 2014s ,,,, the rolled edge of the speaker cone is inverted, so that no portion of the cone can come into contact with the inside edge of the fairing, as it thrusts forward with the loud, deep bass frequencies ,,,,,,

JMJOHN, Can you breakdown down the differences between your JMAA-1800HC14 and the BOOM Audio Amp used on the 2014 HD SGS?
1. Does the JMAA01800HC14 require the internal amp be disabled on the 6.5?
2. Does your amp act like a piggyback boosting the existing radio output from the internal amp?
3. Does this amp have true high, mid and low control in regard to the Infotainment radio controls?
