They are boosting Screaming eagle cams in the 2014 FLHXS, anyone know which cam is being installed, or lift and duration numbers?

 

Intake open 3 intake closes 30 Intake duration 213 Intake lift .495 Intake CL 103.5 ex. open 43 ex. close 10 EX Dur. 233 EX Lift .495 Exhaust C/L 106.5 Cam center line 105 and 13 degrees overlap. Not absolutely sure of lift numbers. They will hang with the SE 255 and are lots easier to tune. I haven't seen a number on it. I think it just has the part number.

They actually work real good especially with 2 in 1. They like richer idle and will give nice lope. Also need to richen the decel enleanment about 20% by making numbers smaller.

My coworker went from a Gold wing to a new 14 FLHXS and he kept saying that his salesman said it had SE cams, so I was trying to figure out just how much bling I was going to have to spend to stay in front!!! Thx for the info.

 

Sounds like 2014 takeouts will be a good value upgrade.

 

I would agree. There will be some that want more and will go with an aftermarket cam.

But...................I picked up about 10/10 on a well tuned Stage 1 on my bike. (see sig).

I've got some 561-1 cams sitting on the shelf, but not in any hurry to put them in.

My bike flat gets it on as is!

 

Barely worth the gaskets IMHO.
