Took a ride today to an unfamiliar destination and for the 1st time relied solely on the GPS. I was impressed. Wondering now about saving simple no waypoint routes just by "programming" them in using the touch screen instead of importing them from a thumb drive after using Ride Planner.

Did you ever get yours figured out?

The number of routes you can save will be affected by the number of Favorites (Custom Waypoints) that you upload, since they use the same memory. Add 200 Favorites and you can't upload any routes.

I like the idea of a built in GPS but I hope Harley continues to maintain these devices WELL into the life of the product. So many GPS companies discontinue support after x number of years. I hope Harley doesn't do the same.

Kind of a mute issue for me. I usually remove the routes from the 6.5 soon after I use. Can keep an endless (not really, but a lot) number of routes on a memory stick.
