Default Speedometer with built in tach

I have searched and read good and bad on the combo speedometer and tach. Anyone that has it want to give a long term review seeing its been out awhile? How do you like it and has it been trouble free?

Default Well...

Mine has been trouble free. Works as advertised. I still can't quite figure out how to get the colors the way I want them. After years on a Dyna, I thought I missed the tach. Turns out I never even look unless I remember. I guess I didn't miss it as much as I thought.
If I had to do it over I would probly spend the 400+ on something else.

Mine has operated trouble free for the past year, it was also cheaper than what Groucho1 paid.....

I had a slightly different variant on my fat boy and have one on my Road King. I love the thing. Yeah, it takes a few minutes to figure out the colored lighting option, but once you do, its pretty darn cool. Its baffling that ANY motorcycle would come from the factory without a tach.

Only have had mine for a year, but it's been great. Easy install - just follow the instructions step by step. It also gives me a better read on my fuel.
I bought a display unit-only $195.

+1.

I also really love the thing, missed the tach from my Dyna and I find that I put to use frequently. Good addition for me!

I put the combo speed/tach on my RK since 2007.... Yup like it and will not ever get another bike without a tach. Mine is a bit old i don't think i can change color diaplay but i like the red against the black.
